needed to paint on glass:
• Paper - use copier paper to make a tracing of the design.
• Typewriter carbon paper - use for transferring a design to the glass.
• Artist's paintbrush - used to apply glass paint to the surface of the glass.
• Stencil brush - used with a stencil for applying paint to the glass.
• Decorator's paintbrush - used for flogging the paint surface.
• Paint dish - flat plastic microwave dish or fresh food tray.
; Kitchen paper - for mopping up spills.
• Cotton buds - used to make patterns in
wet glass paint.
• Soft sponge — used to make a mottled surface on wet glass paint.
• Masking tape — used to mask off areas of glass that you do not want to paint
• Thick plastic sheet - used as a base for making shapes with gel.
• Petroleum jelly — used for coating the plastic sheet before spreading the gel.
• Superglue — used to attach jewels to the surface of the glass.
• Hair dryer - useful for drying paint between colour changes.
• Cutting knife - craft knife, sharp enough to remove dried glass paint.
• Oven - used for hardening porcelain paint.
