There are more and more imperilled species in the animal world, victims of fashion and vanity and the lust of gain . Noah would try in vain to collect once more his passengers in the Ark. Keeping an eye on the future in technical matters - keeping an eye on the environment and all living beings in it: these are tasks for the professionals and their work is watched by the layman with somé misgivings but alsó with undaunted hope.
