Once upon a time, there lived in a village a little country girl. Her grandmother had given her a little red riding-hood which suited the girl so well that everybody called her Little Red Riding-Hood. One day her Mother had baked a delicious cake and told her to take it to her Grannie who was not well. "Don't forget to take the shortest way through the wood," said her Mother, "for there is a nasty big wolf in the forest and promise to keep to the path," she warned.
